Folic acid: it is the only active form among food folates that the more it is absorbed by the body, this vitamin is necessary for the body to carry out all the synthesis, repair and methylation reactions of DNA; serves for the metabolism of homocysteine (remethylation); water-soluble vitamin of group B, Folic Acid is also responsible, in the human body, for several important biochemical reactions, especially in children in adults, who need folic acid to normally produce red blood cells and prevent forms of anemia, and even more in pregnant women.

Vitamin B12: also called cobalamin due to the presence of a cobalt atom in the center of the molecule, it is a vitamin of group B, it is water-soluble, but above all it is essential for good health of our body, in particular for the nervous and cardiovascular systems, besides to participate in the metabolism of proteins, fats and carbohydrates. Closely linked to the action of four amino acids, vitamin C and pantothenic acid, vitamin B12 also improves the functionality of iron in the organism and facilitates the synthesis of folic acid with choline.

Vitamin C: also called Ascorbic acid as a natural remedy for scurvy, of vitamins, is perhaps the best known; this water-soluble organic substance is essential for preserving the health of the individual. Let’s see why vitamin C is so important for health: it is a substance that cannot be produced by our body but is very precious because it helps to strengthen the immune system, has antioxidant properties, and promotes bone and joint health; it is also useful in facilitating the absorption of iron.
